Parergon is a collaborative artistic project that began at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. This video is a compilation of the performances from the first two showcases by Justin Tuerk, Alex Borovski, and Jesus Miramontes.

The Phantom Powers was a group of non-musicians that covered five classic Rock n Roll songs. The group was constructed by Justin Tuerk as an art project that questioned the idea of authorship and eventually led to the development of the Parergon project. The performers in the Phantom Powers were Alex Borovski on guitar, Rebecca Williams on drums, and Kledia Spiro on bass Guitar.

I conceived of this release as art as joke, or joke as art, by combining the passions of biking riding, musical reference, and senselessly getting my hands dirty by stopping in the middle of a busy street to collected rubble from the potholed streets of Boston. Materials: Plastic bag, broken Boston asphalt, and printed sticker label. Edition: 10/10.
