MemoryBabe is a video studies project on my father George Miramontes. The project explores the relationship between memory and fiction. These studies are fragments for a larger documentary project that captures the life and times of my father in the San Diego/Tijuana metropolitan area.

Study No.8 (W/Sound) from a video series called Memorybabe. This study juxtaposes images of my father, George Miramontes, myself as a child, and my 6 day old son, Lucian. The audio is from an album entitled Heroin by Mathieu, Stephan and Ehlers, and Ekkehard. The first section is a track entitled Blue Baby 2, and the third section is a track entitled Turkey Song.
MemoryBabe Study No.8 features juxtaposing images of my father, my two week old son Lucian, and myself as a child. This version of the study is without sound.
